Drinking water uses polyaluminum chloride -- the solid product of the 2009 standard is yellow or golden yellow.
Production process:

The mass fractions of insoluble matter, iron, arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, and chromium listed in the table are calculated based on Al₂O3 content of 10.0%. When Al₂O3 content is >10.0%, it should be converted to the proportion of products with Al₂O3 as 10.0% based on the actual content, and the corresponding mass fraction should be calculated. This product should also comply with relevant laws, regulations, and mandatory standards.
