    The molecular chain of non-ionic polyacrylamide is uncharged and is formed by the polymerization of acrylamide monomers, with no ionized groups on its side chains.
    Physical and Chemical Properties
    1. Appearance: Usually in white granules or powder form, odorless.
    2. Solubility: Easily soluble in water, forming a transparent, viscous solution. The dissolution rate is affected by factors such as water temperature and stirring; higher water temperatures will accelerate the dissolution rate.
    3. Stability: Relatively stable at room temperature, but under special conditions such as high temperature, strong acids, or strong bases, the molecular chain may degrade, affecting its performance.
    Mechanism of Action
    1. Adsorption Bridging Action: Through its long-chain molecular structure, non-ionic polyacrylamide can adsorb onto the surfaces of multiple suspended particles, connecting these particles to form larger flocs, facilitating sedimentation or filtration. For example, in wastewater, it can adsorb suspended silt, organic particles, etc.
    2. Thickening Action: When dissolved in liquid, it can increase the viscosity of the liquid, which is important in many industrial applications, such as improving the rheological properties of products like coatings and adhesives.
    Main Uses
    1. Wastewater Treatment
    - It has a good treatment effect on wastewater with a pH close to neutral. It can treat various industrial wastewater, such as that generated from electroplating, dyeing, brewing, etc., by removing suspended solids and some organic matter through flocculation.
    - In sludge dewatering, it can effectively improve the properties of sludge and enhance the dewatering efficiency.
    2. Textile Dyeing and Finishing
