      Addressing the challenge of high fluoride water exceeding standards in industries such as coal chemical, single crystal silicon, etc., based on cutting-edge research results from the Academy of Sciences. A composite chelation-adsorption fluoride removal agent has been developed based on the characteristics of wastewater quality and treatment processes in typical industries. The study found that the conversion of free fluoride to complexed fluoride and the generation of fluoride ligands are key steps in achieving fluoride removal. PH value, fluoride form conversion, and dosage of the agent are core factors affecting the fluoride removal effect. The design introduces organic chelating agents with strong chelation ability to convert free fluoride into complexed fluoride, and then through a mixture of iron-aluminum-manganese complexes with different degrees of polymerization, hydroxyl numbers, and charge amounts, based on aluminum-fluoride coordination and hydroxyl exchange, a new fluoride removal agent mechanism of chelation-coagulation-adsorption has been created, establishing a new fluoride removal agent that synergizes coordination complexation, co-precipitation, and hydroxyl adsorption.
